MicroRail Mass Transit Cars have Sliding Entry Doors.

Mass transit cars allow full stand-up height to standing passengers in aisle running transverse to the car length. Sliding doors are provided at both sides of the cars to allow use of platforms on either side of trains.

MicroRail PAT: Easy "Step-in and Sit" Car Entry

All MicroRail PAT passenger cars feature easy "step-in and sit" entry as illustrated above for passenger convenience and short station times.

Upper portion of door hinges upward to clear passenger heads as shown. Lower portion of door hinges downward to serve as walkway to station platforms. Cars feature single level, platform level floors for increased passenger safety.
